Would you use for Whipple ? Major Liver Resection ? And does it make sense for day surgery lap chole ?
The POISE-3 trial substudy including 3260 general surgery patients showed that prophylactic IV TXA can reduce the risk of perioperative bleeding without increasing thromboembolic risk in general surgery procedures.
