They would cut programs Canadians need, and give big tax cuts to their rich friends while blaming the poor for all of Canada's problems l.
@SteveRickettsSP
Jamie lost it a long time ago, along with that other skater Theo Fluery. I am sincerely sad these two once great Canadians have gone down the conspiracy rabbit hole.
@DavidHamer_1951
Police increasingly getting involved in politics. More accurately, conservative politics. Also true of churches. We should start taxing churches and firing police leaders with political axes to grind.
@CBCNews
If you're going to buy a huge vehicle, it kind of defeats the purpose of wanting good range. It requires energy to move weight. This isn't a truck problem, it's a people problem. People want their cake, and they want to eat it too.
@Mikeggibbs
This is just modern Canadian conservatism. From Ford to Smith to Higgs to PP. Corrupt, criminal and shameless. And we seem to want more of it judging by polls and recent elections. We are doomed, and we are broken.
@AhmarSKhan
@robertbenzie
@CityCynthia
It's beyond cynical to try to cover the stench of corruption with the housing crisis. This minister is shameless and irredeemable.
@fordnation
Meet Michael Ford. He's really, really pulling in a serious big paycheque. No training, no skills, doesn't have to do any work. The same with other Ford insiders and lackeys.
@Chiefs
@Ticketmaster
Nope. Going to go to Philly. Their team doesn't tolerate homophobia and bigotry. You know what I'm talking about. Avoid, pretend it didn't happen. Whatever, good bye.
@David_Moscrop
I'm reminded of being careful of what you ask for. I hoped O'Toole would lose, and now we are looking at Poilievre to become Prime Minister. I don't agree with O'Toole, but he's a much better person/leader/politician/human being than Poilievre.
@CBCNews
Can we all just take a second and have some empathy for the rich? Those yachts don't fuel them selves. It's getting harder to wait for the perfect Rolex. And those Birken bags are harder to get. Give them a break.
@Tim_Bousquet
@Suzanne_Rent
Is there a neighbourhood in Halifax where the houses aren't 500k? Pam is an elitist scrub that needs to be voted out at the earliest opportunity.
@Chiefs
I'm an Eagles fan now. Thank Harrison Bigot for that. You should be ashamed. By tolerating this bigot you're condoning his misogyny, homophobia and hate.
@charlesadler
It might have worked if an election was in the near future. But I fail to see how this is going to be sustained? Even the home team is gong to find it dull after a while. That, and it's not going to attract the voters he needs to win.
@terry_truchan
It's also the rural/urban divide. Cities and regional municipalities are paying the lion share of taxes but getting outvoted by the country folk.
@meanderingemu
It's actually pretty easy. This property was built decades ago before housing was an issue. It has room for parking. Important, like it or not. It is surrounded by green space. I thought we liked green spaces in our cities?? Unrealistic expectations never lead to solutions.
@kyleseeback
What issue? Respect my right to have freedom from religion. Unlike some government Conservative mouthpiece I actually served my country. And I find it insulting and annoying to suffer through silly prayers at Remembrance Day ceremonies. Keep your prayers to yourself.
@natnewswatch
@_llebrun
I don't think people get it. We are now in our own MAGA moment. A good portion of Canada will support anything PP does. He's using the Trump playbook to perfection. He's going to make some people angry with this visit. Not enough to make a difference, and he solidifies is rep.
@cspotweet
And profit, don't forget profit. The real reason SDM is getting involved. It certainly isn't altruism or a sense of community responsibility.
@cspotweet
“We’re not against anybody, we’re just for the elected officials staying neutral." You know like how people were neutral during slavery, and on that women's right to vote thing. And now they're neutral on hate toward the LGBTQ community.
@Libs4Canada
All that weight training has paid off. They can now make young children cry without fear. Such brave, brave men. Let's all take a moment to gaze upon such perfect manly men.
@CBCNS
Halifax Chamber should move its offices from Burnside to the downtown. Have them deal with the parking costs and extra fuel costs. Sorry, I'm not supporting forced subsidization of business. For people that claim to hate socialism, they don't mind reaching for it for business.
@CBCNews
The company that had no problem illegally fixing the price of bread wants to take a moral stand on shoplifting. Whatever. It's their prerogative, but don't expect much sympathy.
@DavidGiesmann
@RonFilipkowski
Please stop saying nasty people are 'on the spectrum'. I know many people on the spectrum and have volunteered on their organizations. I haven't met a nasty one yet. RD is just a nasty person.
@What23HasDone
Seriously? Ketchup chips are only available in Canada. With all the negativity in the news, this was a fell good story with a uniquely Canadian angle. The son is blind and deaf. And this triggers you somehow? Jesus Christ on a stick some people are just miserable.
