My dad is in a long term care facility that requires masking due to pervasive respiratory illnesses. I happily wore a mask several times to visit him over Christmas to mitigate risks to him, other residents and the staff. Mostly because I'm not a selfish asshole with a complex.
Iโll take today as a small win.
My dad has been in the hospital here in Kelowna for 4 days.
Masks are mandated again so have avoided a visit.. until today.
