This weekend one of our members of UK Youth Parliament Becca is at Leeds for the Annual Conference and was selected to be one of the MYPs for this discussion with the minster.
Learning about the facts of knife crime: Did you know people are now more likely to recieve a custodial sentence than a caution for possession of a knife or offensive weapon than ever before?
so delighted to have contributed to my policy motion in regards to youth provision and youth services & the motion passed it will be officially included in the national manifesto! thankyou all for voting for it and hopefully it makes a major impact!

What a great day! We have taken part in lots of different workshops on topics including first aid, democracy & LGBTQ+ history & had training on delivering focus groups. Debated issues that matter & had a chance to be creative! Also found time to do some outdoor ed activities!
Today we are having a picnic at Jordanthorpe youth club! Come and join us between 7-9pm for some snacks and outdoor games. We are also doing bake off part 2 😀
