So Ronna McDaniel has now overseen losing...
-AL senate seat (2017)
-House (2018)
-KY governor (2019)
-Presidency (2020)
-Two GA senate seats and the Senate (2021)
-Key governors races, senate seats, and the Senate (2022)
-WI Supreme Court seat (2023)
I predicted on X back on June 14, 2023 that Ron DeSantis was going to win Iowa.
Six months later and with 32 days to go to the Iowa caucus, I reiterate anew my prior prediction.
Would I vote for Ron DeSantis?
Absolutely and without hesitation.
Would I vote for Vivek?
If I had to.
Would I vote for Haley?
If I had to.
Would I vote for RFK?
Serve up Trump-Biden 2 (Electric Boogaloo) and perhaps.
Would I vote for Trump?
#NeverAgain
I will give you seven...
1) His rolling over for Nancy Pelosi and signing every bloated omnibus bill put in front of him. One of the reasons for the high inflation of recent years was Trump's fiscal irresponsibility.

@ShawnMcElhinney
So just give me one policy you did not like, that made your life worse than it is now?
I understand you dislike him as a human, but I am mote interested in policy.
Jimmy Carter is a great human being, but his policies made our lives worse.
So to be clear, we are supposed to believe that the same Donald Trump who was a toxic boat anchor to Republican electoral chances in 2018 and cost them the House somehow saved DeSantis' election in Florida?
How feasible does this really sound?
🤔
Again, if DeSantis' campaign was really sinking fast, over before it began, etc. Trump and his minions would not be constantly putting DeSantis' name in their mouth. But they do. That is the real tell.
Watch what they do. Their fear is obvious and betrays their verbal denials.
I want to take a moment and thank Joe Anoai (
@WWERomanReigns
) for the Cameo he shot for my wife Anna (
@Americareform
). It really lifted her spirits.
The Polls According to Trump...
Polls in 2016: Fake!
Polls in 2017: Fake!
Polls in 2018: Fake!
Polls in 2019: Fake!
Polls in 2020: Fake!
Polls in 2021: Fake!
Polls in 2022: Fake!
Polls in 2023: 100% accurate, I am up bigly, the primary is over, no need to even vote!
@MBGlenn
@WFKARS
@TomiLahren
The one that really caused me to spit my drink was the guy who said that Toni Lahren probably watches Sound of Music and is sad when the Von Trapp family makes it to Switzerland! 😹
At this point...
In 2007, Rudy and Hillary were leading in polls.
In 1991, Bubba was in single digits in polling.
In 1979, Carter was leading Reagan in polling.
In 1967, LBJ was a shoe-in for reelection.
Relax. The game has not started yet.
With 16 days to go, I suggest a complete disengagement directly with ultramaga starting 1/1/24 until at least after IA.
No matter what they say, ignore them directly.
If you must respond, screenshot the tweet so you do not help their algorithm.
Time to starve the 💰 grifters!
Unsolicited advice to my DeSantis fiends, Trump influencers are in the process of twisting themselves in knots defending Trump's FBI building stance, Their engagement rate is way down, they are constantly getting community noted( which means they don't get paid
for it). Which is
2) He promised to pay down the debt but still added $8.2T more in debt: more 💰 than any president in history except Obama. But unlike Obama, Trump did his damage in one term.
2/10
6) His failure to utilize his congressional majorities in the first two years of the term to codify some of his EO's into statutory law. As a result, Biden was able to undo most of Trump's "accomplishments."
7/10
7) His systematic destruction of the GOP as a credible and functional opposition to the Democrats by pushing fringe candidates which turned off the electorate in 7 straight elections losing red senate seats, governorships, the House, the Presidency, the Senate, etc

@ujkf99
@AskTarget
@BlueIris04
Let me guess: another dude who thinks he is a chick?
Great influencer you have there, Target. It has influenced me to not buy anything more from your stores.
3) His failure to build a wall and make Mexico pay for it. Now I was never a fan of the physical wall idea. But he made a clear promise and kept insisting he would do it. I need not agree with a policy to respect a politician for doing what he says
3/10
Trump was not ready in 2016 and he proved it by getting rolled repeatedly by his foes.
We need real executive leadership in the WH in 2024.
Trump should take an education in true leadership from RDS and wait until 2032.
4) Need I go over the complete 💩 show that was his cabinet appointments? He pledged to hire "only the best" and for the most part hired one clunker after another. Personnel is policy.
5/10
However, not only did he fail to build a wall and said anyone who thought Mexico would pay for it is a sucker. Actually, he could have taxed remittances to fund it but was too 🐔 to. This was one of his big pledges and he did not even come close to fulfilling it.

"this is probably the most important election of our lifetime"
I have heard that nonsense since at least '92. So lets see...
'92, '94, '96, '98, '00, '02, '04, '06, '08, '10, '12, '14, '16, '18, '20, '22...
Every election "the most important of our lifetime"?
Uh huh sure?
🙄
Two 30-something guys talking, waiting to order at McDonald's.
G1: Did you see the State Of The Union last night?
G2: No, I have better things to do than listen to a senile old man ramble on for hours.
G1: Actually Biden did really well!
G2: You're kidding me!?
G1: No,
As it is not uncommon for magadonians to post pictures of presumptive "Trump accomplishment" lists which look impressive at a glance but actually are not, this thread will address some of the more common items or tactics employed in such lists. Without further ado...

Addendum: None of this is to say that everything from the Trump years was bad.
In fairness, there were a few good things. But the cons far outweigh the pros and of the 4 positives I could highlight, 3 of them we would have gotten done with even a generic GOP alternative.
5) The general daily 🐂 💩 drama by which he pandered to his low IQ reality TV drones to always try and "own da libs" in the news cycle while failing repeatedly in the form of legislative advancement of conservative priorities.
6/10
I trust this is sufficient to make my point. The man is a cancer. I will support any form of political chemotherapy to eradicate it except a vote for Joe Biden. We do not want 2028 to be a similar 💩 show as 2021-2024 thus far has been.

Apparently it is supposedly antisemitic "code" to refer to anyone as "Soros-backed" but it was not the case in years back for leftys to refer to "Koch-funded" candidates or candidates "backed by Sheldon Adelson" and be speaking in said "code." Nice Animal Farm you have there 🙄
@NBCNews
@NBCNewsTHINK
"THINK is NBC News' home for fresh opinion, sharp analysis and powerful essays."
This piece is none of those things. In fact, it is antithetical to all of them.
Why are those insistent on there being "mass voter fraud" not similarly insistent on the existence of mass *poll* fraud?
A hint: pulling off vote fraud on the scale necessary to swing a national election is a LOT harder than fudging tabs of a "poll" with 400 odd folks in it.
Apparently it is supposedly antisemitic "code" to refer to anyone as "Soros-backed" but it was not the case in years back for leftys to refer to "Koch-funded" candidates or candidates "backed by Sheldon Adelson" and be speaking in said "code." Nice Animal Farm you have there 🙄
I see no reason to be loyal to Trump after the way he treated the J6 defendants. He raised a lot of 💵 off them but did not use any of it to help with their legal issues. Nor did he pardon them when he was able to as president.
He deserves no loyalty and can piss off!
It took 24 years (1992-2016) for the GOP to go from believing "character is important" to nominating a person with very low character. From there it took 8 years (2016-2024) for the once "law and order" party to be the party of "so what if the law was broken if no one got hurt."
Some like myself are Goldwater conservatives and longtime indy voters. I voted for Gary Johnson in 2016. I did not trust Trump but reluctantly voted for him in 2020.
DeSantis embodies everything I have wanted in a GOP presidential candidate for decades. A doer not a talker.
@drewevett24
I think most DeSantis supporters used to be Trump supporters. Hence the propaganda and political techniques don't work well on them. They've seen it all. I know there are some 2016 Never Trumpers that like DeSantis but I think they're more pragmatically aligned rather than
"We will lose not because of Trump"
The common denominator in the past 7 losing election cycles ('17,'18,'19,'20,'21,'22,'23) has been Trump. This fall will be the 8th straight losing election cycle where Trump has been the face of the party. When will you 🤡 🤡 🤡 get a clue?
@E_SanFranExile
@FrankWi6172955
We will lose not because of Trump but rather because anti-Trump conservatives are too stupid and self absorbed with political correctness to understand the big picture. You’d rather squabble over the scraps from Longshanks table than actually address root issues here
Ultramaga: It was not an insurrection.
Right wing media: It was not an insurrection.
Trump's defense team: It was not an insurrection.
Trump: Well yeah it was an insurrection but...

Yes supporting actual conservatives over phony "conservative" grifters makes someone a liberal.
:::Law of Non Contradiction enters the chat:::

I must respectfully not concur.
I am usually good at lesser of two evils voting but when that is not possible, I cannot pretend it is. It was not possible in 2016 and it will not be possible in 2024.
Ultramaga is a cancer that needs to be eradicated.
'They started it ... they were mean first ... '
Since I've tried to remain objective I know there is plenty of nasty to go around on all sides. I don't care. At this point, I'd vote for a moldy sandwich that's been sitting out in a cow pasture for months to keep Biden or another
@MichaelAvenatti
Let us see, which is more believable, (i) Lisa was with you Tuesday or (ii) Kavanaugh and Judge ran a pimp train pulling service in college that no one knew about for 30+ years.

!
Why is Chris Christie skipping IA?
Because he does not want to put in the work.
He thinks by focusing on NH he can derail DeSantis there and help out his daddy.
So he is an easy KO because his "campaign" is basically "New Hampshire or Bust."
@JerichoXVI
@julie_kelly2
'For once Republicans should pull together before it's too late"
Agreed.
"and have one distinct and clear message not a 100 different ones."
Agreed.
"and coalesce behind Trump"
Nope. That is a sure losing proposition as every election cycle since 2017 has shown.
Oh and another thing .

You want to do a survey on who is better looking?

Oh wait, Trump won those states so nevermind!

@joeburger700
Trump had a decent lead on same day voting but lost on mailins by a 3:1 margin after he stupidly discouraged his supporters from mail-in voting.
He lost.
He would lose even worse in 2024 because he is less popular than head lice outside the hardcore ultramaga fringe now.
The national debt was $5.7 trillion in January 2001, it is $34.5 trillion now. That is nearly $30 trillion more and a sixfold increase over a mere 23 years.
Anyone who thinks more Biden will fix this is an idiot.
Anyone who thinks more Trump will fix this is an idiot.
@ConservativaPol
Also the candidate that most suppresses opposition turnout.
Unlike Trump, RDS is not a heat magnet that draws 2-3 voters to vote against him for every 1 for him.
I know very few who voted l who were actually voting for Biden.
Virtually all of them were voting against Trump.
Popcorn for this is on me!

You obviously do not know how ground games work.
The more personal contact a campaign makes with a voter, the more likely they are to turn out for said campaign.
@alexbruesewitz
So Trump endorsed swing state senate and governor candidates lose in embarrassing fashion last year and you guys poo pooed that to death as not relevant but this *mayoral* seat is a big deal?
Yeah, sure skippy! 🙄
@ShorbaNation
@JoeBiden
Look at it this way...
More people voted in years because no one could go out due to covid. So a lot of people voted who normally do not. Also, it is less Biden got the votes than those folks were voting against Trump. No Biden voters I know voted for Joe, it was against Don.

Those still referencing "Trump" cannot be taken seriously.
Moving forward, the GOP is about winning elections and achieving legislative victories ALONE.
Trump and his drones are always crying salty tears and throwing tantrums about mythical "cheating." Trumpism is anathema.
In oral argument today, Justice Thomas is minimizing the severity of the 1/6 insurrection at the Capitol. Perhaps that's because his wife was part of the conspiracy. What a disgrace that he's sitting on this case.

The 🚢 is going down. All warnings to avoid the iceberg were not only ignored but mockingly so. I am going to enjoy the looks of sheer terror on the faces of these 🤡🤡 🤡 when they start screaming at realizing that they are chained in the boiler room by their own stupidity.

@mitchellvii
DeSantis can spend over an hour discussing pure policy intelligently and Trumps response is to talk about the size of his "red button."
We need competence and normalcy back in this country after too many years of a clownshow.
#DeSantis2024
@MontanainMS
@JoshPower80
Trump had a Republican Congress in 2017, got complacent, and lost it.
DeSantis actively campaigned for and built up his legislative majorities throughout his first term.
One builds up, the other destroys.
