@talkSPORT VAR is the real issue here. If Oliver in a split second thinks he's gone down his achilles then he was right to give the red. VAR not asking him to go back and take another look is the real problem. We need to bin VAR now I think.

@SkySportsNews I think it should have been a yellow but can understand why Oliver has given a red in the moment. What I don't get is why VAR hasn't asked him to go have a look. VAR is the biggest talking point here for me. It's a shambles. We either accept human error or use VAR correctly.

@stehoare It depends really. If you break it down, Is it a yellow for the studs down the leg and another yellow for stopping the counterattack? Is there a rule that says they can't give a red for 2 yellow offences in the same incident? Because there's an argument for both being yellows.
