For 10 years, I’ve missed discussions at meetings, struggled in interviews, failed to hear in restaurants. Today I had a conversation with someone wearing a mask without asking them to repeat themselves & heard the lyrics of a song for the 1st time. It’s miraculous. I’m grateful.

Ran my first half marathon. I was speedy-ish at the start and slow at the end. Viv said I looked like I was running away from the zombie apocalypse to begin with but got caught and crossed the finish line as a zombie. Ken said even when something is true you don’t have to say it.
