The people of Balochistan have long suffered at the hands of state-sponsored Sardars and death squads. These nefarious entities have systematically destabilized the region, perpetrating heinous crimes that have become all too familiar: enforced disappearances, blackmailing and drug trafficking are the prime. The latest incident involving Asma Jattak's kidnapping and blackmailing of her family has sent shockwaves throughout the region. While state’s direct hands towards their established local militias or death squads, that too under the supervision of local parliamentarians, further exposes that state and its locally-hired squads have contributed enough in anti-Baloch and anti-humanitarian norms like abducting women. This horrific event has exposed the grim reality that even Baloch women are not safe within the confines of their own homes. The people of Balochistan have faced decades of oppression, with state-sponsored terrorism perpetuating a culture of fear and silence. Further silence means inviting further barbarism on ourselves. #SaveBalochWomen

The brutal target killing of Allah Dad, son of Wahid, a brilliant MPhil scholar at Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad, is a stark reminder of the ongoing Baloch genocide. Allah Dad, a Baloch scholar, was harassed multiple times by Pakistan's Military Intelligence while studying in Islamabad. Despite his academic pursuits, he was constantly targeted, forcing him to quit his education and return to Balochistan. But the Pakistani forces wouldn't let him be. They continued their relentless pursuit, ultimately killing him in a targeted attack. Allah Dad's story is a testament to the Pakistani state's brutal suppression of the Baloch people. His murder is not an isolated incident. It is part of a systematic campaign of terror unleashed by the fascist state against the Baloch people. Conscious Baloch individuals, scholars, and activists are being targeted by death squads, silencing voices that dare to speak out against state atrocities. For decades, the Baloch people have faced extreme marginalization, poverty, and violence. Parents raise their children in hardship, hoping they will become the pillars of support in their old age. But the fascist state has other plans – snuffing out these young lives in an instant. The Baloch genocide is real. It's a slow-burning fire that has consumed countless lives, leaving families shattered and traumatized. We cannot afford to bury more talented bodies. We need our youth alive, their voices heard, and their dreams fulfilled. #StopBalochGenocide

In Balochistan, every dawn brings mourning grief and torment. Innocent civilians, including minors, are forcibly disappeared, leaving their families in unbearable pain. Yesterday, 15-year-old Anas Baloch was forcibly disappeared by security forces in Khuzdar, Balochistan. His family blocked the main RCD road Khuzdar, demanding his safe release. I urge the people of Khuzdar and surrounding areas to join the sit-in and be the voice of Anas' family! #ReleaseAnasBaloch

Today, we commemorate a somber day in Balochistan's history. On January 25, 2014, three mass graves were discovered in Khuzdar, containing 169 bodies. This gruesome finding exposed the atrocities committed by the state against the Baloch people. For years, Baloch missing persons have been killed and buried in unmarked graves, labeled as “abandoned” in Dasht graveyard. The state’s attempt to conceal these crimes has only fueled our determination to seek justice. Today, many parents, sisters, and brothers still wait for their loved ones, unaware if they're alive or dead. The state continues to perpetrate atrocities, burying missing persons and denying their families even the smallest measure of closure. Our martyrs are not abandoned; we own them proudly. We remember their sacrifices and honor their memories. We demand justice for the victims and their families, who have suffered unimaginable pain and trauma. As a nation, our identity is under threat. Without our identity, we risk losing our very existence. We must resist and come forward to protect our identity, our culture, and our land and expose the genocidal policies of the fascist state. We will not be silenced. We will not forget. #StopBalochGenocide

One may have heard of barbarism on people. The Baloch are a living example, facing severe state atrocities on daily basis. But in Balochistan, books are also caged, arrested and “interrogated”. Today’s police crackdown on Baloch Students Action Committee’s (BSAC) organized book stall in Gwadar clarifies how the state is fearful of Baloch consciousness. It is the series of state brutalities, whether in-campus or off-campus, on Baloch students in particular, others in general. I do not only denounce the police attack on students and books, but also ratify the students for their efforts in working on establishing a prosperous and educational environment across the Baloch areas. Their resilience gives us the hope that our national future is definitely very bright. #BalochistanKitabKarwan

The Karachi police behavior towards peaceful Baloch reflects state’s actual eye towards the region as a whole. We have timely raised concerns about state’s apolitical, anti-humanitarian, and pathetic attitude and hard corner for the Baloch, but they have been heedless. Today’s crackdown on the protesters is the series of crackdowns state instructions are launching against peaceful Baloch, including the earlier sending of agents to attack Sammi and other protesters. Such state acts have contributed enough to fuel the Baloch hatred, while furthering the atrocities will lead state to fall prey to its own anti-state policies. I urge the people of Karachi to stand in solidarity in practical with Sammi and other protesters so that they hold the law enforcement agencies accountable for their war-crimes against the Baloch.
