CD Romance going down sucks. It didn't have the largest collection of games on the net but it was probably the most well designed and user friendly site of it's kind.

FromSoft made 8 Armored Core games for the PS2 in the space of about 5 years. The secret was just reusing assets and then adding a few new things each time.
-Cost and dev time was low
-Returns were high
-Fans were happy
FromSoft are SMART

Like I'm beyond excited there's a new Armored Core game, but this is the first one to appear in 10 years and it has to sell big time to keep the series going.
Where as on the PS2 there were 8 Armored Core games in the space of 5 years, and that was normal.
