It takes some work going through the play by play data to get the info right now Hoping @GetGameChanger adds this stat to the hitting team stats, to help coaches evaluate their players bat to ball skills!

📄 Just converted our recent golf meta-analysis in @SportsMedicineJ into a poster, for an upcoming conference. 🏌️ Great to see Alex Brennan’s PhD helping to drive stronger links between science and practice in the golf world. 🔓 Open access here:

@Mike_kim714 I think it would be cool for a lot of people to see how pro’s actually workout. And that it’s not just the stretching and “core” exercises that you see in golf magazines.

@PrimeAthlete14 @LA_Swiftness We do not do a lot of tee work in our program. It’s mostly flips, bp and machine. When we do flips we mix in Plyos, long, short, heavy, light bats depending on the drill to challenge them. Almost everything has an external focus goal.

@CoachPerk @cabney18 @robkatz Perk, Caleb has it figured out bc he read some research studies As I’ve said to him before. The magic is in the middle. Find the right balance of tee, flips, easy bp and game like bp. It’s all beneficial But that doesn’t get engagement on Twitter. Which is all hes trying to do

@LA_Swiftness The key is to progress from there. Once you find the feel in an easy environment, challenge it with a tougher environment. Rinse and repeat A blanket statement saying all those things are a waste of time is stupidity. Or more thank likely it’s Caleb just looking for attention
