Number 4 is felt very very very strongly by us in Israel. The only reason we don't focus on it on Twitter is that it provides fodder to Hamas supporters and other enemies. But believe me - there is outrage here in Israel. I will never forgive the army or govt.

I"m sorry to say this but I saw many of his tweets and this was not a good man. He called one of the hostages' father the C word on Twitter. And said many hateful and violent things about people. Teaching English Literature does not make you a good person.

According to rumours over Shabbat, they brought back 160 corpses from Al Shifa to be identified by DNA to see if any are the hostages. I'm just praying that the children are all still alive.

It's got nothing to do with justification. Israel wants to send a clear message that no terrorist group can commit an Oct 7th massacre and not pay a heavy price.
So if anything it's a deterrent.
Also, they just need to release the hostages and all the bombing stops.

Yesterday, somebody told me that all Palestinians want a two state solution and that it was Israel that was blocking it and I got very excited and asked for names of Palestinians on Twitter that I could connect with and she said Sorry can't help you.
