This was an important step forward I was pleased to represent @LGAcomms at on a key community safety concern for local councils. I also highlighted @BarnetCouncil anti-robbery school students focused initiative supported by @LDN_VRU as an opportunity for increased partnership.
Today I met with major phone manufacturers and Home Office Ministers to discuss the issue of phone thefts. We’re targeting criminals through increased police patrols, but I also want to work with the mobile phone industry to make it impossible for criminals to use, sell and repurpose stolen phones.

Thanks to all residents who joined the community safety session with @Dan4Barnet and the neighbourhood meeting with @sarahsackman last week. I always leave these with more awareness on emerging issues and need for better comms and will continue sharing with teams and partners.
