My grandfather has passed away today, aged 76, in the morning hours, peacefully and surrounded by his closest family.

Grandpa is still alive, however his liver is failing, so we are not sure how long he has, hopefully long enough to spend Christmas with us. He has meds and was sent home from hospital today. He is in a better shape than he was on a Monday evening, so who knows what happens next.

Here is a thing with all the Nylander talk about the possible AAV.. his start of the season did not raise his contract value by like 20% from ~9 million to 11+ million in 17 games. Neither would a slow start put his value down from that to like having same deal as he has now..
