Been made aware that Glas'bury In-vision BSL Interpreters on BBC had very little prep before providing all weekend service. The call out for interpreters was only 2 weeks ago. They have absolutely done a really commendable job in these circumstances. Bravo!

My Dad has passed away this afternoon. Genny and I said our goodbyes at 2pm and swap places with Mum and Matt (cos 2 is the limit). At 2.10pm, slipped away as my Mum lay her head on the pillow next to him and it was a lovely moment. Naturally, I'm incredibly sad right now Xxx

Access to Work is so bad at the moment. The delays are not sustainable - for deaf customers and for interpreters/agencies. Is anybody on their back and holding them to account? Or are we too wrapped up with the BSL Bill?

Just learned that Jerry Hanifin is no longer among us. For 3 years, my office was next door to him. Many hours spent chatting to him and how we laughed. He had time for everyone and made everyone happy. So long, Jerry. You're one of the kind. RIP 😢
