They have got an anchor at the top with Buttler.. play with a short batting line up while batting first..
I don't think they are at similar levels with SRH and KKR.. those two teams are the real ones who have changed the way.

Rabada has better stats than Bumrah in tests here..
But an important aspect is..The pitches in SA suits the taller bowlers alot more..Still Bumrah is nearly par with Rabada even there...That in itself is a big achievement..

I still believe MI 2020 is a superior side to what KKR 2024 are.
But in this IPL, KKR have been the stand out side. No other side comes close. That's the parallel to MI 2020 campaign. In that IPL, no other side even came in touching distance of MI.

The teams I mentioned are surely playing in Trinidad SF regardless where they finish.
They are in same super 8 group of India. They will play SF at a venue other than India's one.
So they know they are playing in Trinidad.

Absolutely.
RR honestly don't have the ideal T20 side..So less depth in both batting and bowling. I used to say it even when they had won 8 out of 9.
At best, their attacking intent is average..Not high like SRH or KKR..

Playing well and playing to the requirements of the team are two different things.
Ruturaj won't play in middle order in a full strength side. He can open. But his approach while opening isn't suited to modern day standards.
He is a really slow starter...

I have got a view regarding MI.
If that team starts to click and win a couple of games now, That team has the potential to finish in top 2 even.
If it doesn't they might have a 2022 kinda season.
I don't think they are gonna have a middling season this year.

They have played only once in very flat conditions. That was in Eden. Even in wankhade, the pitch aided swing and seam bowling.
In modern day T20, good hitters are your first priority. Then some phase specific bowlers who can give you good returns in those particular overs.
