Some thoughts on startups hiring early designers as well 🚀
Hire people who want to build good stuff, are curious about how things work & motivated to improve constantly while having an Acumen for solving problems
Tools and frameworks are never ending and can be learnt easily

Firstly, understand that UX Writing is Design. Like motion, visual or any other function, It plays an equal role in the overall UX
At any given point of time 80% of whatever you see on an app or website is Text. Hence content design is key

Another thing is with the mess that the layoffs were, a lot of folks (incl designers) faced a traumatic experience.

The battery optimisation on M1 macs is just crazy. Been using the new MBP and haven't charged my laptop in almost 2 days now.
Used Lightroom, Figma, lot of browsing and Netflix during this time.
Apple silicon really is crazy. Over 9Hr screen on time.
