These are big red flags founders and companies use while trying to get you for lesser Money. Just be transparent about how much you can offer, don't try to accomodate for the pay part by saying that we are solving for good. Every damn company is!

Coinswitch having more users than Zerodha is just sad. I am happy for coinswitch’s success but the state of crypto in India is bad. It’s being shown as some ‘magic’ investment app where you just put your money in and you’ll get profits and be rich. Even the ads are like this.

Don't let people and some leaders fool you into thinking usability isn't important. They probably have never seen a screen from an actual user's POV.

Today while snoozing my alarm, I noticed the alarm label and it said “Check O2”
Changed the label to this when I used to set multiple alarms in the night to keep checking my grandfather’s O2 level. Makes me so calm and happy that it’s not needed anymore as he defeated corona🥺😌

2 years ago, while I was sitting for SDE placements, this gave me the confidence to set my foot down and pursue Product design for real. Sometimes all you need is a small push. Also, kudos to Zomato design again for doing this. Asking people to critique so openly is not easy.

Microsoft Designer seems amazing! A great competitor to Canva and also great application of DALL·E 2 for actual daily use! And no it’s not gonna ‘replace’ designers, it shows how AI can actually help you create faster.
Microsoft’s S/W approach has been superb under Nadella!

The design community is getting worse everyday because of these folks being talked about. Stop trying to take advantage of desperate people. Stop spreading fake gyaan on twitter and then complaining when someone asks you for what they deserve.
One thing that recently gets me pissed off is startup founders complaining about CTCs. How can they market the possibility of high jobs to students but at the same time ridicule those who ask for what they are worth?

Not to say I didn’t learn anything or you don’t learn from your colleagues in design, but the level of product thinking and superb feedback that you can receive from PMs can improve you so much!

One of the biggest reasons why whatsapp is such a huge success is because their design follows each platform’s design guidelines. Users don’t have to ‘learn’ how to use the app on the platform they are on since it is similar to a lot of apps they already use on iOS/Android!
