Another hilarious part someone pointed out was that a certain member of that group got played by their son and in doing so got made much taller which is a pro-wrestling type thing I can respect.
Anti-bullying messages are great, and much needed.
That said, it's pretty rich coming from some of the absolute worst people on this site who have created a brand centered on negativity, and being jackasses.
So did everyone finally realize that the AEW/Impact deal did not help Impact at all? Not blaming AEW, but it never looked like something that could help Impact and I doubt it did.
SmackDown had 22 minutes of actual wrestling in a 2 hour show.
AEW Rampage had 24 minutes with a 1 hour show.
Smackdown probably had less wrestling because Roman Reigns most likely spent 20 mins asking the crowd to acknowledge him
Dad passed away yesterday around 11 AM. He was made comfortable and was surrounded by many loved ones.
When he landed in the hospital, I said “We need a miracle or some mercy.” He got the latter.
Again, I cannot thank y’all enough for the love and support.
Someone I already had blocked said that Bryan Danielson...BRYAN DANIELSON...had no classic matches until Wednesday's Dynamite which is the dumbest thing I've ever read on this site.
All these Tweets about Roman being “manipulative” and “gaslighting” and my wife just said “This is just a show but it’s scary because this is how people manipulate their family.”
He’s playing this perfectly.
Saw Florence Henderson trending and thought, "I hope she didn't pass" and it's a real good news/bad news deal.
She did not pass today, she passed 8 years ago.
Just told my 11yo daughter about Jey Uso. She had tears in her eyes. And then she did the Wakanda pose and said “
#Jeykanda
forever” — which is the sort of pop culture cross-over I can celebrate.
Here's my take on all of this...
Never should have booked Fiend v Rollins for Universal Title
Had to strap The Fiend once you did
Never going to be a satisfying end to his run
I get not liking a 53 year-old part-timer ending it
Bill taking the heat for it is smart though....
I will never ever forget the magic of sitting down with Dad on Saturday night, flipping on the SuperStation, seeing the stars of the National Wrestling Alliance, and wondering what kind of ratings it would do.
I wish WWE would release a bunch of these folks because I'm tired of talking about them and how they are mistreated.
Such a tedious discussion point, and it never ends.
I received permission from the family to share this...
My best friend Norko (
@TheBottomLine
) passed away due to a cardiac arrest earlier today.
I am completely in shock as is the family. I knew him since 3rd grade (1987) and we lived in the same neighborhood.
Non-wrestlers. What’s the worst “bump” you’ve taken?
I was screwing around with a 50’ extension cord and knocked myself down in my front yard. First thing I did was look to see if anyone noticed. 😂
They need to stop having guys like Corbin and Drew talk about Roman’s leukemia like that. It’s tacky and you can accomplish the same thing by alluding to it if you so desire.
Here's what's bizarre to me about all of Da Meltz's weird banter.
AEW is fine, he doesn't need to turn into a contortionist to make it seem like they are doing well. They literally and truly are, but he insists on twisting all facts and logic to make it seem even better. Odd.
IF you have Reigns in the Universal Title match at SummerSlam AND he doesn’t leave that show with the belt under whatever circumstance I’d have him and the Authors of Pain show up and wreck the champ the next night on Raw.
The Empire of Pain stable that some have wanted.
I get missing the old NXT or whatever. Being nostalgic for that and all that.
Acting like losing 2021 black & yellow NXT is some big loss is odd to me but you do you I suppose.
So Orton spends all that time trolling about going to AEW, signs an WWE deal, and then drops a “your dad is being investigated for corruption” on Tony Khan.
Nuance being what it is on here and whatnot, it's pretty clear some of y'all still refuse to accept the idea that wrestling is not just about the in-ring work and that's wild to me.
