@marcel__za
Gayton went through due process. He was punished. It’s done. Malema was punished by the ANC. The courts exonerated him. Nothing we can do about either.
Gouws should be submitted to a process. If the DA want him out, then he can found his own party like Malema did and return.
@be1_gilly
@JustineLimLaw
It was on radio, TV, apps, newspapers AND social media. You’ll miss the next world war at this rate.
And yes, they should have closed roads, but we also need to take some personal responsibility in some situations. I ALWAYS check roads before a road trip.
@errolbsk
This GNU is going to do wonders for shining lights in all these corners the ANC have kept in the dark. Maybe it is better for us never to have a majority party again. Permanent coalition politics and a circle of accountability.
@lebomashile
Hi Lebo
I’m unclear which passive aggressive, defective English you are referring to.
I’d appreciate more clarity on this. Please advise when you are available for a conversation and I’d be happy to make time to discuss further.

He’s talking about honey traps. Which are only effective if the target is hiding something. Dean is open about his sexuality and is not cheating on anywhere.
Don’t take that guy too seriously. He doesn’t even know what counter intelligence is.
@goolammv
Angie has someone’s nudes. No other possible explanation.
At the end of the day, the idea that the ANC has folded and the DA have taken over is false.
@RediTlhabi
Not sure you can say that for every country. I’ve lived in nine travelled to more than 90. In some you have to, in others you don’t, and in some it’s advisable.
My personal approach is to carry a laminated copy of my bio data passport page, and a digital on my phone.
@Arfness
@Uber_RSA
In my experience when this happens, I screengrab the messages I’ve sent the driver, cancel, write to Uber to complain and I get a refund. They’ve never asked for the screengrabs, but I keep them handy in case.
@fcfortune
The book Rogue’s Gallery does a very good job of documenting corruption from the Dutch colony all the way through to today. This country’s foundations are corrupt. ANC corruption is just a continuation.

After decades of voting for the Nats, whose central policy was apartheid.
Thanks for the referendum vote (which came at the very end, when the country was held together with string, and it was the least worst of bad options), but that is not the be all and end all.
@Lynette_SA
United Kingdom = England + Wales + Scotland + Northern Ireland
Great Britain = UK - Northern Ireland (so the main island)
England = GB - (Wales + Scotland)

@marcel__za
Is there a statute of limitations on abhorrent behaviour that I’m unaware of?
Renaldo brought this on himself. He said those things, and then when he became an MP started rubbing it in people’s face. FAFO. That’s why now.

I wasn’t arguing. I was correcting.
And if you can argue that a single voting outcome negates and erases decades of other votes, then yes, I can nitpick all I want.
@DeanOelsch
I’m immune to PR and performative politics.
I’ll judge by grassroots growth in sports, development pathways, elite / professional outcomes and what role his ministry played in all that.
He has a good nose for when to show up and tweet a lot, I’ll give him that.

There is no context where that language is acceptable. Ever.
Boer cannot be used interchangeably with k***** and n*****. There is no equivalence between those words. At all.
@WG_RumblePants
I’m South African. I don’t have much experience of that. Just things we hear about in India, England and Australia lol.
If that’s the peak of cricket civilisation, then we are but mere peasants trying to figure out the Stone Age.
@IanECox
That’s not fair. They have two Diamond DA42’s as well. Not sure which window they use to toss grenades out of, but I suppose the aim is to keep the enemy guessing 😂
@ErnstRoets
@SokupaTheo
But you did say “virtually everyone”. Now we’ve whittled it down to the “political, intellectual and media elites”. I suppose for the next cut, it will be whittled down to something along the lines of “vocal minority”?

@jfjoubert
I don’t know about all that. All I saw was numbers that didn’t add up. I don’t engage in these immigration battles. There are lazy and hardworking people everywhere. Honest and dishonest too.

When ANC guys said they didn’t have enough time to fix things after centuries of injustice, time was never an issue. Now, time is of paramount importance. Now, patience is key 😂
@Newzroom405
This trial by social media approach to law enforcement is unsustainable. We need a far-ranging and systemic approach. There are HUNDREDS of restaurants and other businesses across the country doing this.
Where’s the plan to address legal status and enforcement of minimum wages?
@Our_DA
Honestly, fed up with the ANC. Fed up with the DA. Fed up with the lot of you. How you guys can turn a winning position into a losing one is beyond me. The drivel in this video.
@Tessa_Dooms
I think the left got too hung up on ideological purity and waiting for life to be perfect. Treating people with different views with suspicion. Refusing to accept that change in a constitutional democracy is a process, and you start with steps. It’s been very off-putting.
@Arfness
I thought the same and then got schooled. By someone I work with, who has been stopped and shown the Act (below). Fortunately she had a digital copy on her phone:
@jfjoubert
Great concept, but as an owner of severs Ubers I’ll struggling to see how they are coming up with 8k a month and surviving. Surely the guys who get cars upfront must be subsidising the guys later in the queue, and there has to be a period prior where the save for living expenses.

Ah okay. So you are narrowing the definition of swearing to fit your narrative, after I clearly said some are worse than others. Can you say shit on live TV? what has Twitter got to do with F1 radio messages?
F1 twitter is such a toxic place. Incredible hill to die on.

But race determines, heavily, the circumstances a South African is born into, and many, many outcomes, including income, are correlated with race. Race and class are highly correlated in South Africa.
@talkcentss
This is how banks work across the globe. If they held 100% of deposits in liquid assets, they’d not be able to lend. You also are ignoring equity.
Sorry, but alarmist drivel seemingly designed to drive traffic to your tweets.

ANC is corrupt and inept party (that I have never voted for), but they have been the most moderate major political force in this country for decades (stretching back into the apartheid era). I’ll fight anyone who says they are “radical” or “communist”.

I don’t think it even has to be black. Just better and more human leaders. I refuse to believe that all black voters see is race. But we absolutely do see and sense are leaders who, on a fundamental level, don’t care about us and our issues, and don’t think they need to learn.
@MbekezeliMB
Panyaza’s cabinet unfortunately has to have more compromise to me. What we had before was not working. At all. We can’t be the richest province and live like this. Almost nothing works. Panyaza’s wings need clipping.
@naledimashishi
48 million black Americans want to tell hundreds of millions of Africans how and what to think about / of race. From a place of ignorance about the African experience of and relationship with race. It’s insanity, but at this point unsurprising.
@nuhaasoeker
But centrist parties (centre left, centre right) obtained a majority of the vote.
Think it’s a mistake to assume Twitter and Facebook are the real world. We have a lot of nasty people, but voting shows they are a minority.
@dionchang
@CoruscaKhaya
Outdated systems at some banks, but even for the banks with better tech, it won’t happen because all funds need to clear through a third party for netting off. In most countries central banks do the clearing and they have no incentive to work weekends.

And when disruption happens in other industries, most people try to adapt rather than resort to violence against innocent people.

It did seem far-fetched. No one serious took you seriously. Thanks for publicly admitting your error. Maybe best to verify first, rather than just post.

The guys in the top 100 of their list slept very well. Maybe took an hour before bed to contemplate whether they should eat with the comrades from MK or with the comrades from EFF.
@RobynPorteous
It’s a wild document. Right from the first para where there’s a subtle suggestion that the country’s first turning point in ‘94 wasn’t positive, but there’s a chance for a positive one now.
@mpiyakhe8
@valavoosh
Didn’t section 10 only give some black people the right to live in urban areas, but didn’t grant you citizenship?
But you’re right, we have been “South African longer than ‘94, but her wider point remains: “South African” is primarily a legal construct.

I listen to him frequently on F1TV. Austria FP he wasnt happy and swore. I think it was Imola he swoare during quali. Nothing excessive, just the odd “Sh*t”. No clue why you're trying to make this controversial.
@SokupaTheo
@ErnstRoets
Fully agree. But stirring up controversy (on controversy) is his bread and butter. Even better “papa Elon” pays them for engagement now, so stir the pot and ka-ching! Nice side income.
@Richard_Spoor
South African entrepreneurs are some of the coldest I’ve seen. How much could it possibly cost the owner to keep them employed for two months? Even if partial salaries.
@JackoRugby
@Springboks
The ranking calculation makes sense to me. Unfortunately for SA, Australia are in doldrums and Argentina’s ranking is mid, so we aren’t really rewarded for winning TRC games and are punished heavily for losing any. And we played ABs at home, so those wins carried less weight.
