@Diamondbolt7 Suspiria (1977). Very entertaining teaser trailer with crazy energy. The main sticking image from it doesn’t appear in the film at all.

@JoshTalons2 @LowBudgetGod @dajajajamie A maturely composed argument, indeed. I think I’ll back out now, there’s no beating that.

@JoshTalons2 @LowBudgetGod @dajajajamie I won’t know where you cooked up that crock of science fiction, but the fact is no one’s asking for that. At all. Ever. Again, can you truly know for sure that the *movie’s lame without seeing it for yourself?

@ShazayaX @LowBudgetGod @dajajajamie Economically speaking, that’s a sound argument. But if the film is reported to be a worthwhile experience, it’s up to the individual to decide if it’s a worthy gamble of their time and money. I’m proud to obviously be the only one who can gamble on a blind movie.

@Pharaoh_v2 @LowBudgetGod @dajajajamie Why not? If that movie was reported to be good, I’d take your word on it and check it out! I can’t say that I don’t care about something without knowing about it (well, I could, it just wouldn’t be an honest or informed statement).

@JoshTalons2 @LowBudgetGod @dajajajamie How can you know for sure that’s who he is until you learn about him? Going to the movies used to be an act of curiosity. Now we boast what we don’t know and don’t want to know.

@August_Very_Own @dajajajamie Fair point, but can you verify that it’s not good without having seen it?

@Chondrichthyes1 @LowBudgetGod @dajajajamie It’s definitely interesting if you know the subject beforehand. But it can’t lose *all value if you don’t. It can’t possibly. It might go down a little, but for me, I’d be more interested to learn about someone.

@LibertyCappy Aside from the racism inherent in associating disjointed (at best) language with any specific race, the joke doesn’t work because she’s not asking for Romeo’s location, she’s asking why is his name “Romeo.” As in, why must he be a Montague? We all read the play, right?

@Cale_Dekat @LowBudgetGod The word for that statement is “sad.” Yeah, that’s the word. But the fact that he boasts that as a flex? There is no word for that. And I don’t want there to be.

@LowBudgetGod @dajajajamie If that’s true about most people, that’s the saddest thing I’ve ever heard. But I can’t believe that’s true. I’ll refuse to engage with the possibility that people, much less most people, are that closed off.

@LowBudgetGod @dajajajamie Haven’t seen an ad for, that’s a marketing problem, no way around it. But as to the question of why watch a movie about someone you don’t know? Maybe….so you can know who they are? Maybe? The hell do I know, though.

@Chadronius @dajajajamie Proving my point precisely. If someone hasn’t heard of it already, then it’s obviously not worth hearing about at all. How could it be?

@AlDANS_ Every October I go to the Middleburg Film Festival, and almost every year I go by myself. My wife likes movies, but she doesn’t get into the festival like I do, so she tells me “Go have fun.” My favorite weekend of the year.

RT @IMDBorg: You, because no one else is even pretending to be legitimately hyped for the Smurfs movie.
