Great thread. CTD such as EDS patients often have improved POTS following VCS intervention. VCS can possibly occur due to outer lining of vessel being CT and more easily compressible by even slightest external mechanical compression compounded by other structures being “out of place” from poor structural architecture.

@NeurologistMom Junior neurologists are being trained with an excessive focus on imaging. This issue is multifactorial—not enough time to conduct detailed PE or dedicate to teaching. (As your neighborhood friendly neuroradiologist), I must stress how limited imaging can be in many situations.
