As erudite as ever @Brendennel Spot on
Watch any game from 10 years ago and it is unrecognisable, the laws have changed so much. And they can call me alarmist. But the 20min red card won't solve foul play issues. I just get the idea nobody at that office in Dublin actually cares

Not at all Johann I think you would nail it
@RossSleet I'm actually keen on this, but it's probably too far outside of my scope 😅 🙈

Yes please!
South African inflation came out at 4.6% from 5.1% previously. Was expected to drop to 4.8%. Dear @KganyagoLesetja, let's get that 50 bp cut in!

Respect
My forefathers? Hold my beer and pull up a chair. My grandfather, Ethan Zangeshane Mayisela, was born in 1922 in Alex. He grew up to be an economist working in newly-liberated African countries to set up their finance systems He studied for a BCom at Wits, and completed his Honours and Masters at the University of Natal. A black man in the 1940s. I wish I had met him to hear the story of his university days. It must’ve been quite the tale. He passed away the year before I was born. I digress. He went on to lecture at Fort Hare, the City Treasurer of Soweto, serve as the Commissioner of Budget in Tanzania, and then became the first Reserve Governor of Swaziland. His politics? Gotcha. He was part of a group of young intellectual activists at Wits, including Dan Mokonyane, Lawrence Mayisela, Ethan Mayisela, and Simon Noge, who had become critical of the ANC’s politics. They were attracted to socialist ideas and formed the local branch of the international socialist organization, Movement for a Democracy of Content. This organization, led by Mokonyane, played a leading role in the famous Alexandra bus boycott of 1957 against fare increases. He is buried in the place of his birth, Alex.
