On the eve election - please have a thought for MPs staff. Many will lose their jobs and their livelihoods tomorrow due to no fault of their own. Politics is a brutal game but for many this is their first job.

Many of my fellow remainers on here are hilarious - always the UKs fault negotiations are stalling never Europe’s fault. The country voted to leave. We lost. Europe is not always right!

Son in hospital today. All fine - small operation. But the anger from the nurses who are getting a 5.5% increase compared to the doctors who are getting 22% is incredible. One just said "they think we are mugs" There maybe trouble ahead.

Took the annual pilgrimage to Southend to see my mum today. 24 years since she left us - never gets easier and now taking the boys it feels even harder to stand there and talk to her without crying. She has missed so much.
