where our council is building a road on a SPZ1 groundwater source (insanity!) To prevent runoff it requires a bespoke leakproof drainage system for the road's lifespan. One mistake and 70k people lose access to their drinking water forever 🚱😬

The River Severn in Shrewsbury will be formally declared as a Bathing Water Site. Excellent news for our community. Regular monitoring will ensure bathers have up-to-date information about the quality of the water and enable action to be taken if standards are not being met. 🏊♂️
