The Planfarm agronomy team of @Richard Quinlan and @Nick McKenna have laid down the Strip&Disc trial for the second year. Why? Because strip and disc farming has potentially big benefits yet there is no funding for this research in WA. What do you think?

@ipaddockapps Relax Mic. The virologists have got a deep understanding of what’s going on. Bit different than weed resistance. Weed resistance is selection. Virus resistance is mutation (genetic error).

This paddock was sprayed this year with Ally+MCPA LVE+Logran. 6 years ago it was resistant to this mix. After 3 years of complete kill with Velocity it is once again susceptible to Logran + MCPA LVE + Ally mix . Impossible? @robbert115 may have proof it’s not. Huge implications.

Does Strip&Disc farming have a place in Western Australia? Some stunning crops in a very dry year in Junee and Marrar NSW.

@hirschirsch @NVT_Online I think it’s an IT issue Dylan. wrt to your comment I haven’t been involved with NVT for a while but traditionally they try and locate on the major soil type of the district. Hence it tends to stay on the same soiltype over time.

@HyolaCanola Thanks. Greenough, Mingenew bunting. I filtered for canola then selected the site and canola type from the map then selected long term data.
