Hello 👋🏻 X followers. Thought I’d re-introduce myself. I’m UK based HR guy that has a deep passion for helping new leaders and aspiring leaders move from lost to leading. In the process of building tools and resources for new and experienced leaders to continue to learn and grow. Married and have a daughter 👧 and a second on the way. Big fan of the @Giants and just started playing Padel Tennis (worth checking out). Live in Gloucester but originally from Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿. Looking to connect with more people that have similar passion. In the limited spare time I have also post about activities and events for the family in the Cotswolds. Come and say hello 👋🏻

@joanncorley Love this point. This hits the key thing that in order to develop and move forward you need to be modelling this to your team as much as possible

@dklineii Great point Dave. See this countless times of leaders that accelerate this. One of the best ways is through raising the bar and holding the standards.

Managers roles cut indicate the focus to move faster, bring the ICs closer to the overall decisions makers. But…studies find want to increase engagement and get more out empower and invest in middle management. With engagement rates dropping cutting this level won’t have an engagement outcome

@JonGordon11 This is really true. The focus should be moved to others not themselves. Be that 10X or 100X leader. Do more with others.

The more and more I work and coach leaders the more I see they need community not always training. They need space to work things through, ask questions and get advice and guidance from those further down the leadership path. Leaders what are your thoughts on this?

@dklineii Nobody wants to work because you haven’t been clear on expectations and what needs to be done as well as not defining what outcomes need to look like.

@ethan_kohan The boring things are where people are: - happy to money for the skill - lack the knowledge to do it themselves This gives a great opportunity to develop something great.
