@Mortdog why are “normal” leveling intervals for 6 and 8 + augment selection on 3-2 and 4-2? Feels weird because then 3-1 and 4-1 feel more like “2-8” and “3-8” instead of part of the stages they are a part of. Is it just a holdover from the past or is there a reason still?

@BoulevardTCG Competitively, staying in the same format feels better to me because you can iterate on LUs instead of having to rebuild and retest everything.

@Drisoth @maxgotthetracks IDs are allowed in Pokémon, so cuts for less than 227 players tend to be around X-1-1, although the largest tournaments smaller than 227 tend to be less than 100 players to my knowledge. Tl;dr, ties change math from X-1 cuts to X-1-1 cuts very often.

@forestwithout I’ll take right. Braun seems kinda troll with 3 other diver particularly without a big enough dive threat. Right should be able to play fights to peel. It is really close though.
