Today was my annual "I have left handed scissors for those of you that are lefties" announcement. My students were blown away. One said "I feel so seen". Another said "I have never had anyone consider I might need something different before." Sometimes it's the little things.

#teachertwitter , what's our feelings on retest vs test corrections?* I use both, depending on the average test score, time left in the quarter, etc. Trying to find a more consistent way to decide. *Please don't say neither. That's not the point of this ask.

@Zombieirishgirl Nope, it's Irish. I'm married to an Irish man and the first time we went over together I couldn't find my jammies in the hotel. Shocked when he told me to check under the pillow - housekeeping put them there when they made the bed! I thought it was just him, but it's Irish.
