This is spot on, esp Casemiro made it a point to show him lots of love for both goals. This is a great moment now to see if he can take the confidence, and trust from the team, and build on this.
People on the outside talk a lot about Real Madrid being a toxic environment, but look at the support Luka Jovic is getting from his teammates publicly. Everyone has been rooting for him, and that's a wonderful sight.

The revisionism on Fede is pretty classic of our fanbase. The same one that turned on Vini and was convinced Rodrygo would instead be the one who made it. Fede is a hugely talented player, and not being press resistant or out of form right now doesn't mean he won't/can't make it.

The impressive thing about Benz isn't the number of goals it's (1) his longevity at the elite level, best among his generation and generally (2) able to play so many different tactical roles. Most strikers lose scoring form completely when moved around or just don't last as long.

Since most top teams' level nowadays are +/- similar, football is increasingly a game of momentums. When you have positive momentum you have to make the best out of it. When it's the opponent's you just have to not crumble during that phase. Real Madrid deals w/ this pretty well.
