What happened was a tragedy. But after 8 years what else engagement do you honestly want? It’s an unsafe building that is a constant reminder of what happened and which you don’t own - they didn’t have to consult you at all.

Ollie Watkins is past his prime and will be 30 years in a few months. Anything bid above £40m for him is not a good business. We need a striker urgently, but bidding £60m (bid got rejected) for Watkins, when there're better options at the same valuation, isn't wise.
