While working at EA I can't make/work on Sims 4 mods. It's like a pretty major rule and like has gross legal stuff involved and I don't need to get in any legal trouble. This means my mods are going to be adopted/held by some pretty amazing modders that I trust and love!

Y’all comparing modders to the maxis team aint right. We don’t have anything limiting us, no rules, no one overhead telling us what to make, when to make it, how to make it, or a budget. There’s way too much that goes into these things than just a simple fix.

Like yes modders have fixed bugs from packs in one day. Did they have to get someone above them to review the code? Did they have to communicate with a whole team? People always say “EA should hire modders” or “omg EA should hire you”

To Simmers: Hey party peeps, trust me, do NOT play with mods when the new patch comes out. This is the biggest patch so don’t expect modders to update their mods in a day.
To Modders: Hey besties, you’re gonna do amazing! If you need someone to talk to hit me up on discord 🥰💕
Tomorrow’s patch is supposed to be the biggest in TS4 history, in terms of file size. Copy/paste your Saves folder to your Desktop. Cut/paste your Mods folder to your Desktop. Do it. Do it.

My Dad has Covid and It's starting to spread through the house. I have a sore throat so that's not a good sign. The First Crush pack will be a little delayed but I'm still working on it...just a bit slower than usual 😅💕

Anyways I just wish people were nicer to each other. I want people to experience the same joy I experience from the sims. Hearing ppl say that ppl should get a cheaper hobby really really hurts…Like down in my soul (I’m a very extra person tho so ignore me besties 😅)

V1.01 Bug Fix:
- Fixed genetic issue, so there shouldn't be an issue with the face changing when they turn into pre-teens
Known Issues:
Pre-teen trait gets removed when pre-teen travels. Currently working on a fix for this.

One thing I will say about the Desert Lux kit is that the object thumbnails don't do it justice! I helped out

with implementing the Styled Room she created for the kit and (besides the fact that she did an AMAZING job styling it) the objects look sooo nice in game 😍

I love that EA is taking a stand against this but I can’t help but think about the simmers in Russia. I know people use the sims to express themselves and live out things they aren’t able to do irl. Russia isn’t the only place in the world that bans this either.

It's not like they're working on a small indie game. There are levels to these things, especially in a company as big as EA. I get hate as a modder and I have full control over my mods, can't even imagine getting hate on something I can't control at all 😬
Sorry but I’m not okay with bashing individual sim gurus, they are real people that are doing a *job* and most of them are truly passionate about this game. They don’t make decisions as individuals and to blame them for the shortcomings of EA is unfair IMO.
