Always great to see human studies on #thermogenesis. Study in @NatMetabolism by groups of Drs. @JorisHoeks & Lichtenbelt shows only 1 hour cold exposure with shivering provides #metabolic benefits. How about role of #brownfat & non-shivering thermogenesis?

Cool paper by @LammingLab in @NatureAging showing that either #protein or #BCAA #isoleucine restriction can improve parameters of #aging, frailty. Very interesting contrast between our data linking #leucine to #CVD and theirs linking #isoleucine to #aging.
