@Drsurgicalpath ADH5! It’s a multiplex IHC with CK7/18 in red chromogen, and CK5/14 and p63 in brown.

@nandinipath @Gowri_passionP @mhassanaimc @fouad_boulos @atman_ci It appears to be a biphasic lesion—could this be an adenomyoepithelioma? I’m not sure which stains were provided—are these high- and low-molecular-weight cytokeratins? If so, that would support it.

@ziad_zaatari Possibly naïve question from someone who stays far away from the bowel: what’s the difference between a schwann cell hamartoma and schwannoma?

@TotalCytopath But there are definitely times when I call it “atypical papillary lesion”—especially if it’s markedly fragmented. In those cases, stains may be misleading.

@TotalCytopath I routinely use it on papillary lesions—it easily distinguishes intraductal papillomas with proliferative involvement, SPC/EPC, and even TCCRP. Plus, it’s pretty to look under the microscope.

@mhassanaimc @fouad_boulos đŸ˜± If that’s the case, “MYB rearrangement was detected in 0/11 (0%) CS and 6/16 (37%) ACC cases (P = 0.054).” Warm et al. 2024 PMID: 38677556
