We are so excited to announce the RTM half year mentees! Mentors will work with these mentees to polish their querying packages and opening pages.
Without further ado:

We look forward to reading your work!

We can't wait to see what tomorrow brings!

anytime during these days to ask mentors what they're looking for in a manuscript!
Hello! Our mentors are busily digging into all of our amazing applications! As a reminder: if you receive a full request, please send it ASAP so we have enough time to read all your (incredible) material.
Please also note that not receiving a full request ≠ lack of interest!
✨We are so thrilled to announce we are open to mentor applications!✨
Round Table Mentor is a program focused on development of craft and building connections throughout the writing community, for a writer's whole career, not just the beginning of it. 1/3
We started our AMA and all collectively realized this felt like a hard time to talk about books.
Taking into account feedback from a couple of prospective mentees, writer friends, and internally with each other, we're going to postpone. 1/2
Writing a novel is a communal process. Round Table mentors focus on the whole life of a manuscript and their mentee's development of skill and craft. Uniquely collaborative, supportive, and diverse, RTM seeks mentors who come to the table ready to help, not just lead.
As the application window for Round Table Mentor comes to a close, we want to thank you for all your trust as we begin to read. We're honored and excited!
However, know a spot in this program makes you no more or less worthy than those who didn't find one this year. 1/3
Hello hello all prospective mentees/applicants! Just a reminder to please check your spam/junk folders as we have had a few full request emails get lost :)
The RTM Team thanks you!
Only ✨TWO MORE WEEKS✨ until Round Table Mentor's 30+ mentors opens to mentee applications!
Follow us for info and mini events, and please spread the word! :)

We are one month from the close of mentor applications (15 June)! Our roster is shaping up to be incredible, and we can't wait to get started 🔥
If you are considering potentially joining our amazing team, a reminder that we weight applications toward POC mentors ☺️
Our Adult & NA Ask Me Anything has begun on Instagram!!! Comment there with questions for a specific mentor, or for any/all mentors taking Adult and/or NA applications! Our username on Instagram is RoundTableMentor.
If you don’t receive confirmation your application was received (a glitch sometimes with google docs), please message us for confirmation. Sending a second application complicates our sorting. Thank you :)
You can expect an email soon inviting you to RTM's Mentee Discord, moderated by mentors willing to help out this year, wherever you are in your publishing journeys.
Finally, good luck! We cannot wait to dive into your work and are counting the hours with you.

We’d scheduled it a few weeks ago and failed to adjust our plans in light of recent events. This was an oversight and we are deeply sorry for any hurt we’ve caused.
We're also considering shifting our app window, so if you, our community, have thoughts, please let us know.

It's the binding ethos of our program that no one is treated as more infallible, more talented, more anything than any other––and that includes our applicants.
Because of that, all applicants will gain access to the same resources, regardless of acceptance. 2/3

A little about RTM:
We prioritize applications for mentors and mentees of color, with a hard minimum of at least 50% People of Color making up each years' cohorts.
There is no head of program; everything is decided roundtable (yep) with each mentor weighing in. 2/3
