@Ramos4Texas Wow, kinda harsh. From my point of view, Brent is doing more for Latino children’s future than the dem party.

@Davy1836 Your hyperbole skills are mediocre at best. The buzzword, the false comparisons . Good effort , but pretty transparently fake. So, do you work for a professional trolling company, or are you affiliated eyes the dem party? Just curious.

@RolandForTexas The failing and often violent public school system is ruining the future for way too many Latino and Black violent. The status quo means even more of these children will be left unprepared for the future. Senator, I sincerely hope you do not vote to harm these children’s future.

@coachdavis2122 Have you considered the possibility that poor performing schools where few students are reading at grade level should have their funding cut? Fear mongering for suburban moms is a bad look.

@Hollie_Plemons Respectfully, that is some serious conjecture. I know of parochial schools that work hard to be affordable as part of their mission of spreading the gospel. There is a high school in Fort Worth like this doing some innovative things.

@Davy1836 @JBbandera @teresa246969729 @GregAbbott_TX What evidence do you have that school choice will be worse than the current public school system that is too often failing poor and working class children? The fear mongering with no alternate solution smells like a deceptive attempt to protect the current failing system.

@JBbandera @teresa246969729 @Davy1836 @GregAbbott_TX Then here’s an idea that addresses all these concerns. School choice.

@LaneyHawes I respectfully disagree. The US Constitution initially allowed slavery. Times, thankfully, change. If you live in a poor area, parents are forced to send their children to failing schools. If a parent is sufficiently affluent, it is easy to be unaware of this.

@McFaul @StewMama71 Actually, it’s entirely true and if you have anything knowledge of how poorly USAID programs are run, you would demand the agency be shut down. Therefore, you are either ignorant of the agency, or you are completely dishonest. Which is it?

@steerstrong Just stop. If you hate the idea of poor and working class families having the opportunity to get their children out of failing and violent public schools, act like a man and just say so.

@LtGovTX Burrows seems hell bent and helping democrats in Texas, so I’m very skeptical he will do anything to support real choice to help Texas families.

@steerstrong What the hell are it talking about? You must be a privileged individual because poor and working class families Texas often have NO CHOICE but to send their children to poor performing and violent public schools. Your indifference to this fact is insulting.

@ForrestViews But $10k does make more schools accessible by more families. And most parochial elementary schools are far less than$10k. So more families will have a chance at better education for their children.
