My investment strategy is to double my portfolio value every ~5 years. I need a CAGR of ~15%. The target will be achieved using a diverse asset portfolio: ITs, OEICs, Equities, ETFs & cash. Market timing & concentrated positions will help boost returns.👍
Rule of 72 - Means an annual return of 15% doubles your money every 4.8 years. So an £1000 investment becomes £4,045 after 10 years and £16,316 after 20 years. Over 16 times your money in 20 years, no need to take excess risk for a good return IMO. 👍😉

Tories had 14 years to abolish inheritance tax, raise tax thresholds, support landlords, abolish stamp duty on shares etc
All they did was raise taxes on working people, screwed landlords with Section 24, introduced IR35 on contractors and child benefit charge over £50k. 😠

The best thing Labour can do for the UK Economy is to raise the personal allowance £20k? and offset the cost by restricting pensions relief for high earners IMO.

30%+ pull backs are rare and tend to happen with a recession.
Most times it is OK to buy after 5-10% corrections.
