In Dakabur Village, Kiliwaheri Subcounty, #Mandera, access to sanitation was a major challenge—none of the 78 households had latrines. But through the #HanaanoProject, implemented by RACIDA in partnership with @Concern and funded by @Irish_Aid, the community has built 32 latrines, ensuring every household now has access to proper sanitation! RACIDA Ethiopia staff, together with Charity Agency representatives, Ethiopia, visited Garbab 1 site in Dollo Ado Woreda, to assess the impactful initiatives implemented on the ground. During the visit, the team interacted with community beneficiaries and witnessed tangible outcomes of RACIDA’s interventions. Supported by @BMZ_Bund and @diakoniekh and @BROT_furdiewel , RACIDA has renovated an underground water tank with modern solarized and PVC tank, ensuring access and reliable water storage for the community. Additional interventions by RACIDA include cash support to alleviate the impacts of crises as well as animal vaccination campaigns to protect livestock health, both of which play a vital role in strengthening livelihoods. Under the @BORESHA_HoA project, RACIDA Ethiopia conducted a 12-day livestock vaccination campaign in #Bokolmayo Woreda 🇪🇹 in conjunction with the government department of Livestock and the private sector, including Community Animal Health Workers (CAHWs), and in line with the Market System Development #MSD approach.
