A 26 yo woman and her parents died of a mutual suicide pact. The family were avid Christian Trump supporters. Little seems to be known about exactly why they did this, but the details are quite strange.
Take Trump out of the equation & the core idea of QAnon (mass arrests of the "Cabal" aided by the military) is the exact same crap that the History Channel's Ancient Aliens regular David Wilcock has been pushing since at least 2012.
"The researchers found that overall, people were motivated to believe in conspiracy theories by a need to understand and feel safe in their environment and a need to feel like the community they identify with is superior to others."
Just finished Michael Barkun's A Culture of Conspiracy, which is an analysis of the interplay of extraterrestrial beliefs & right-wing conspiracism. He ends the book by discussing a worst case scenario, which we might just call "today".

I think I have found my new favorite 8kun conspiracy.
Hot Chinese girls trained in sex are looking to seduce incels who may be future politicians or something.
Why are conspiracy theories bad even when they are about bad people? Because they separate us from reality and distract from the actual issues and actual wrongdoing. It also discredits the people on your side who believe it and disseminate it as false information.
I swear this isn't a parody or fake account. This guy is a contributor to the Ancient Aliens on the History Channel and I have one of his books. It's ok if you don't believe me. I wouldn't.
One of the hacks who pushed the "We invaded Iraq because they had a stargate" theory took time off from writing nazi ufo fan-fiction to speculate on a new harebrained theory.
"Interestingly, the news of Flynn's involvement with an Israel-based cyberweapons firm in the middle of a huge spying scandal was brought to QAnon's attention by Ron Watkins."
...
"'Oh man...this freaking sucks,' replied another."
QAnon believers have discovered that their hero Michael Flynn had ties to the Israeli-based spyware firm behind Pegasus...and they don't quite know what to make of it
One of the weirder developments of fringe QAnon is what I call Kennedeism, which is an obsession with bloodlines and the divinity of the Kennedys. It can get even weirder than that sounds, like Michael Protzman's ideas about Princess Di and Barron Trump.
Trump stopped at a pizza place tonight after giving a speech in Fort Myers and handed out slices to supporters. He then took a bite out of a slice of pepperoni pizza and said, “Does anybody want a piece that I’ve eaten?”

Thought to be the original Q by whom?
I don't think anybody serious thinks that Ron Watkins started Q. The common theory is that he stole Q when it moved to 8chan. Of course, accuracy doesn't matter to rage farmers. No amount of retweets will do squat & they know it.
The self-proclaimed Queen of Canada assured her loyal subjects today that her phone cannot, despite its attempts, read her thoughts. She has it blocked.
Am I wrong in assuming that if a guy goes from decrying age of consent laws to calling people he doesn't like "groomers", that he is almost certainly a projecting pedophile?
About 2 months prior, the woman, Morgan Daub, uploaded an unhinged video to her YouTube channel, in which she claimed to renounce the title of Queen of England.
(excerpt) "I refuse to be queen, of the United Kingdom. I will not be your next queen. If you honor me at all, ...
Got me thinking again about all those people that asked me smugly at the end of 2020 what I was going to do with all that knowledge about QAnon "now that it's going to be irrelevant soon".
The QAnon concept of "over the target" is dumb. If you fly your bomber over the wrong country & start dropping bombs, they will fire anti-aircraft guns & surface to air missiles at you even if they aren't the target you were supposed to be bombing.
I finally got back into an "able to read real books" headspace & finished Mike Rothschild's book on the other Rothschilds. As I expected, it was a great, informative read.

The whole QAnon Kennedeism thing just keeps getting bigger and bigger. It's an imaginary mystic bloodline mythology. Everybody important has to be part of the family. It's a reverse of the Illuminati bloodlines myth.
If you have been following me & paying attention for long enough, you probably already knew that the existence of this narrative was completely inevitable.
Here it is.

You should apologize for trying to make people think you are some sort of university instead of just a political propaganda network.
If I give up on doing this account, it will probably not be from over exposure to the hateful, delusional realities of conspiracy theorists, but from the parade of "ha ha, these people are so stupid" comments that make me feel like I'm doing no better than Patriot Takes.
When you come out of a conspiracy belief, be it 9/11 trutherism, QAnon or whatever, the most important lesson to learn is that you were vulnerable to conspiracy theories and that the ones you believe in now might also not be true.
She goes on about the "Deep State" which she claims is run by "Barack Hussein Obama". She is quite obviously a TI, subscribing to a whole plethora of QAnon-adjacent conspiracy theories. It sounds like Covid put her over the edge.
you will set up a republic, a system of government similar to what the United States has. Our constitution—study it, & uh, get yourself something similar. Throw off the royalty, throw off the monarchy. Somebody somewhere down the line decided they were going to be royal. ...
Keep in mind, Erich von Däniken not just the main guy responsible for starting the Ancient Astronaut cult, he is also a horrible person who spews reactionary rhetoric and whines about covid mandates on Twitter.
She continues, declaring herself a"daughter of the Most High God" and saying that "they fucked with the wrong family". It is unclear who the "they" in question is.
11 days ago, she posted a 5 second video which simply flashed the message "Follow me as I follow Christ."
Paywalled, so in short: it was started by Paul Furber & hijacked by Ron Watkins (unless NYT is now part of the vast conspiracy or whatever).

In true TI fashion, she believes that the military is using "advanced weaponry" to control her mind. She believes that people are controlling her laptop while she is recording.
Nobody was actually born royal, and then somebody else went along with it. Nobody is above anybody else. We are all made in the image of God. <laughs> This is funny, this is fu... This was the penultimate plan against me, & against God. Didn't know I was the ideal ...
I'm sorry, but this latest Kennedeist myth is hilarious.

, have you seen this?)
The only other video on her channel is an audio ramble in which she claims to be a "seer" and claims that "hundreds of millions" of people after her, "including the United States military", which she claims is still under Donald Trump's command.
Every time I find some conspiracy theorist that I want to look into on Twitter, all they do with their accounts is whine about the pandemic. I soooo want this to be over so I can hear them ramble about Reptilians or whatever rather than just going "Wah! I have to wear a mask!"
pick for Antichrist, or the Devil. Aw... <makes mock crying noises> For all intents & purposes I have abdicated. I refuse to be queen. No one will ever force me, or trick me, or manipulate me into into accepting the throne, accepting the crown, no one, ever."

Several fake mugshots of Donald Trump were shared online today, with some going viral.
They're all fake. It was confirmed earlier today that there'd be no mugshot of the former president as he went through a court hearing in New York.
I've wasted whole days listening to arguments with a set of people that swear they know who is behind Q but can only spew gish gallops of circumstantial evidence. They browbeat those who question them & play victims when responded to. I'm tired of it & have now blocked them all.
Sometimes, I am struck by how much conspiracy theory bull crap is spawned from people not understanding how things like social media & friendship circles work.
Like, dude, do you not have friends?
This guy thinks *everything* is a mind-control cult. It's self-serving, of course. By positioning himself as the "expert" on mind-control cults, he thinks that this makes him look like the "expert" on everything while putting forward some of the dumbest takes imaginable.
The postal service was the bane of cults and new-age scammers for ages. Before the internet, they could destroy a whole cult, probably faster than any other government agency.
I hear all the time that we shouldn't criticize BlueAnon conspiracists because we are supposed to be on the same side or because they aren't as bad or as dangerous as right-wingers.
Them not being *as* dangerous, in no way implies that they aren't actually dangerous.
Anyone who believes that Jim Stewartson has an ounce of credibility after posting this video has the critical thinking level of a Q follower who thinks JFK Jr. is alive & working to rescue children from being sacrificed by the Deep State.

According to the police, evidence of communications between the family members as well as suicide notes at the scene, the suicide pact was consensual. Those who knew the family claimed that the whole family was highly religious.
The sooner people realize that the alternative health scene and the new-age movement weren't all just crunchy feel-good hippy fluff, the sooner you can realize how we ended up with the conspirituality mess we have now.
Does anyone remember that

WT Actual F!? I just came across this, where Jim goes "oops, It wasn't Mike's e-mails" after like a year of screaming about how he had Mike's emails, proving him guilty of colluding with QAnon promoters. Mike didn't scream extorsion, he said to publish them because he knew ...
Don't worry if you don't hear from me for a while. Having just discovered a Soldier of Fortune archive, it will almost certainly mean that I'm taking a mental vacation to relive my pre-teen years. Then again, I might decide those years sucked too much to go back to. (8/81 👇)
Looking back at the Satanic Panic of the 80s/90s, we tend to focus on fundamentalists preachers but never forget the toxic role of the wave of self-professed "cult experts" pointing at Satanic influence in every mundane thing, for speaker's fees.
She speaks seethingly about Trump, complaining that he feels that we need to experience and be shown all of the horrors before he sweeps in with his military, which she says is partly under his control & partly under "Hussein's" command. Nobody listens to Joe, she says.
Jim Stewartson's descent into fashwave A E S T H E T I C is accelerating fast. At this rate, he will be posting black suns and lightning bolts by next month.
For years, I've been hearing people who don't know how dark the new-age movement can be exclaim how "weird" it is that new-agers fell for QAnon.
I also constantly hear how QAnon is a "big tent" conspiracy that swallows all other conspiracies.
Popular online new-age ascension literature read like this in late December of 2012, but yet I constantly have to hear how "weird" it is that so many new-agers fell for QAnon.
She refers to herself and her "people" as the "remnant", which people familiar with Evangelical eschatology will see as a reference to the Book of Revelations.
