I’ve never been more confident in asserting the importance of facts than ever before. Just because this is true does not mean the Palestinians don’t deserve a state. The problem with just making up narratives is it makes it impossible to actually resolve the issue.
Israel was more of an independent empire/state/nation before 1948 than Palestine ever was, yes.
I don't think going back and using historical arguments like this is good, but if you want to, have at it.
