I biked today for almost 16 miles. I wouldn't be able to do this if it wasn't for Princes Peach 🍑. I was SO anti-ebike when they first came out. I was uneducated and misinformed.
That's until I traveled to New Zealand and saw people of all ages & abilities use them. /1

People against Prop 20 wanted a regional park on this site, even though City Park is < than 2 miles. Axum, Nairobi, & Skyland are < 10min walk. This neighborhood could have gotten a great park as well as affordable housing and shops.

This is Kevin. About 2 yrs ago Kevin was hit while crossing Alameda at Lowell. It was a hit & run. The driver left Kevin laying on the street next. Thankfully, Kevin only suffered minor injuries but his brand new bike was destroyed.

Today I learned that denver govt is shutting down the Webb in order to transform it into a shelter in response to potential wave of migrants across the border.
This is an innovative response from a local govt that has already dealt with so much. I applaud 👏 their efforts.

I don't see how we can go back to in-person meetings. Close to 100 attendees in today's Wash Park area meeting, over 130 in CTN South Central, and even 50 at Kentucky BBL. We still have to address the digital divide, but covid has proven that online meetings work.
