@NateSilver538 I would expect this trend to continue. See the steady rise of the @AmSolidarity party, among others. As long as the duopoly gives us such poor choices, other parties will continue to grow.

It’s a “Slash in the Church Yard” kind of day around here. Despite having seen this music video dozens of times as a kid, it wasn’t until today that I realized that Slash is standing on parched earth. I could have sworn there was rain.

@JWonCATCHING When you say grass dirt grass hit, I assume you are indicating that this ball is getting to the outfielder slowly. Do you have guidelines for runners on this play vs. dirt grass or just grass hits to the outfield?

@aaron_renn @tylercowen I feel this. Growing up in small-town Indiana in the 90’s, I had never even heard of management consulting, let alone investment banking. Now I worry that I am raising my kids in a hyper-educated bubble, but at least they will know the options to climb the ladder.

@RecruitingGuy Kicking team can't block the receiving team until the ball travels 10 yards, ergo an illegal block by MN #13. Also, officials and coaches all know that the 35 yard line is treated like a plane on onside kicks. Anything breaking the plane (hand, helmet, etc.) is an offsides call.

@rajuvamsi007 @lowstakesdre You have annual renewable term. Northwestern loves to sell that stuff. But once people are done having kids, most folks need less death benefit each year because they are paying down debt and growing assets each year.

@lowstakesdre It’s so cheap because you are not very likely to die in the next 20 years. They take your $17,520 along with thousands of other people (who might be getting charged or or less based on how likely they are to die within 20 years) and use it to pay benefits to those few who die.
