Travis Hunter is doing a great job user controlling Shedeur Sanders, held onto the ball for 45 minutes, ran into a sack, and immediately cried about his Line.
I really don't want to see Taylor Swift during the game tomorrow. I do not care that your kid will now ask you questions about football because they show her.

Texas A&M yell leaders squeeze their privates in order to share pain with the team on the football field. Nobody knows who first came up with this idea, but it’s never caught on with anyone but Aggies.

🧵🧵🧵🧵
This offseason, I watched every single snap taken by every single Tight End in the NFL from 2023 (and beyond for some). The criteria consisted of about 65% pass-catching and 35% blocking. There are few true elites, but these are the standouts.
The NFL's top 10:
The Bills are returning a top 5 defense, added Kaiir Elam and Von Miller, and it’s still not their most feared side of the ball.
This Bills team is setting up to be a buzzsaw.
2019 LSU faced a Clemson defense loaded with NFL players and Brent Venables, with Trevor Lawrence, Tee Higgins, and Travis Etienne on the other side and rung up 500 yards on them.
People compared Washington to them
🧵🧵🧵As defenses spread out, the run game is returning as a key element of modern offenses. I studied a bunch this offseason and what A&M OC Collin Klein is doing is revolutionary at the upper levels of football.
A sample of Klein doing wacky and insane stuff on the ground:
UGA fans complained about Kirby Smart, they said he couldn't win big games.
MICH fans complained about Jim Harbaugh, they said he couldn't win big games.
The common denominator is that people who can't identify a 3 technique on film have loud opinions about great coaches
The “culture problem” is not FSU’s.
The “culture problem” lies with the committee that told them their 13 games meant nothing, so why risk millions playing another one?
“JJ McCarthy would be Joe Burrow if he were on a team that threw the ball” is what one scout had to say, per

👀
Currently QB4, McCarthy has been mocked to the
#Vikings
and
#Giants
, much to the polarization of their respective fanbases.
In my opinion, however,
Mike MacDonald has had perfect gameplans 3 times in a row against Cincinnati.
He has a complete read on this offense. What fantastic work, win or lose.
Here’s my Top 5 WRs. Rankings based on film.
Awesome group. So much to like with Nabers, Thomas, and Harrison. I just think the LSU guys are able to separate more and run by you better than Harrison
1: George Kittle (SF).
An easy choice, Kittle combines 1:1 explosiveness with a dominant in-line presence. A key engine of his team's run and pass games, Kittle is one of the more irreplaceable pieces in the NFL.
Everyone before this game: “FSU’s entire team isn’t playing and Georgia’s is, this’ll be a blowout.”
The same people, during the game, for some reason: “OMGGGG LOOK AT FSU. THIS TEAM NEVER BELONGED IN THE PLAYOFFFFFFF, THE PROOF IS RIGHT HERE, FLORIDA STATE IS SO BADDDD.”
Watching Alabama’s roster get raided for parts and the reaction of their fans after all they’ve done to all of us for the last 15 years is going to truly be one of the greatest moments of my life
Mike Vrabel has that Mike Tomlin inevitability, every team he has will be competitive, it doesn’t matter if he has to construct it with sticks and glue.
Bengals are getting young, cheap, and talented on defense.
With the offense about to get expensive, it’s a very long term approach.
That’s what the draft is for for contenders, it’s for future proofing.
This is how you sustain it
The Bengals, top to bottom, are loaded at every level on D, and they are loaded behind them with situational players, depth, and youth.
They have one of the best DCs in the league, and should have one of the top 5 units in the sport.
They have 9, 1, and 5 on the other side.
Joe Burrow played a schedule that included:
-29 win in a row Clemson stacked with NFL blue chips,
-One of the most loaded Alabama teams ever (!!), on the road (!!!!),
-Georgia with a top 3 defense
-NY6 winner Florida
-Oklahoma
And made all of them look like FCS schools.

In my opinion, however,
The Alabama job historically is the best job in college football. At the moment it might be one of the worst because of the shoes the next coach will have to fill.
The Bengals are, by far, the most explosive offense in the NFL.
Explosive pass plays are such a threat that DCs will give up pretty much anything to avoid them.
It’s really rare you see a team scare NFL coordinators like this, they’re terrified.
If you told me in the year 2015 that LSU would go 9-3 because the defense let down their 2nd Heisman QB in 4 years I honest to god would have had you committed.
Dog. LSU — LSU! — is going to have two Heisman QBs in a four-year span. I remember when we stressed over Jordan Jefferson vs. Jarrett Lee. Lee vs. Andrew Hatch. Anthony Jennings vs. Brandon Harris. They’re all my sons, but sheesh. What a time.
A lot of people this week have suggested the Chiefs take away all of the underneath stuff and dare the Bengals to be explosive, which is really galaxy-braining it.
A lot of people have forgotten WHY teams defend the Bengals this way.
Texans have
Elite young QB
Elite young EDGE
Elite LT
Elite young CB
Very good young WRs
Almost all on rookie deals.
You’ll be hearing a lot from this team for a very, very long time.
Regardless of what happens tomorrow, I have had more fun watching the Bengals than I have had watching the NFL in a long time.
This team has answered every call, made every adjustment, done everything right to get here, even when I thought they weren’t
With Patrick Toney calling plays and Corey Raymond recruiting defensive backs, Florida is going to have some of the best defenses in the nation before long.
3: David Njoku (CLE)
This is where the list begins. Njoku has blossomed under Kevin Stefanski into one of the league's most valuable TEs. As a pass catcher, he has the athleticism to align anywhere and is devastating after the catch.
absolutely no idea what Josh Allen was trying to do with their 2 plays after the 2 minute warning
you need 9 yards to gain a 1st down
you have 2 plays
he ignores underneath options on both throws
and chucks 25+ yards into the end zone 2x when you don't even want/need a TD
Again, Ohio State was the better team, dominated net success rate, and was done in by getting caught on every single one of their blitz calls, losing on about 4 huge swing plays.
👀
Insane Connor Stalions video from the 2022 Ohio State game.
Stalions tells DC Jesse Minter "run right" on 2nd and 9 for OSU.
Michigan immediately crashes both safeties, leaves the middle of the field wide open, and the Buckeyes run offset to the middle-right.
Kittle is the most explosive TE in the sport. His burst allows him to stretch defenses vertically as well as threaten after the catch, and he can align anywhere. SF releases him from in tight a lot, marrying the run and pass while giving him favorable matchups on LBs and S.
Shohei Ohtani’s outing was the 26th since at least 1901 with 10+ strikeouts and no runs allowed on Opening Day
it’s the first time that pitcher’s team lost the game
As a blocker, there is nobody better, and he is the only one on this list who truly qualifies among the league's elite. His hand placement, leverage, and violent intentions allow him to routinely *wipe out* DEs 1v1, freeing up other blockers for doubles, leads, and climbs.
It's sorta weird how nobody talks about how dirty a player Mac Jones is because he's a white-bread QB of a white-bread franchise.
He does things like this all the time.
@MichaelKistNFL
@breidenfehoko4
It's funny because players will say this and then you'll get some former player on ESPN saying that they think Sam Darnold is better than Patrick Mahomes.
I've seen former players call a play "inside zone" when the guard and tackle were pulling and the back took a counter step.
Aaron Rodgers was very open about his future, essentially saying everything is on the table – from returning to the Packers to playing elsewhere to retiring. He made one thing clear about his decision: “I won’t drag it out.”
Will have more on this after his presser is done.
In this lineup, the 49ers are simultaneously in
11 Personnel
12 Personnel
21 Personnel
31 Personnel
22 Personnel
The TE is in the slot, the WR is at RB, the RB is at the X, the FB is at TE
2: Travis Kelce (KC)
In order to be useful as a TE who doesn't really block, you have to match the receiving output a WR would produce in your place. Kelce is *better* than 90% of the league's WRs. As the KC offense has shifted in identity, Kelce became its dictating receiver
Washington All-Pac 12 cornerback Jabbar Muhammad has entered the transfer portal,
@chris_hummer
and I have learned for
@247sports
.
Had 46 tackles and three interceptions this year.
Yes, Justin Jefferson is all world. We know that. Also noteworthy, Kirk Cousins meticulously sliced up a Belichick defense that has mostly humiliated young QBs for 20+ years. There are many levels to QB play. Cousins balled tonight.
@ENQSports
I'm apologizing and it's heartfelt, it's sincere, I meant it. And then, you know, one of the Reds' players, Nick Castellanos, hits a home run. I call the home run in the middle of the apology as there’s a drive into deep left field by Castellanos and that’ll be a home run
