Reformed according to the Scripture It's important that all Christians be careful not to live to please other men's standards, lest they make merchandise of our souls and we live to impress a clever man's ego Look after yourselves friends and live biblically to the Lord, not men

formulate doctrine so well, but none of us were in the room and documents were not bequeathed to you or I in an individual way. Be careful of riding a high horse on such matters, lest you trample others and they begin to despise the confession you wave like a flag on your castle

@Petty_France "So, though not quite saying it clearly, he argues that the title “Reformed” can only ever truly apply to those that have reformed their doctrine and practice by the pattern and commands of the Apostles." This is always the most important thing to be concerned about.

@Petty_France "when you have made satisfaction for your notorious schism, and return as dutiful sons to their Mother, or else have cast off all your filthy rubbish of her abominations which are found amongst you, we will return to you, or show our just grounds to the contrary.” Brilliant 😁

@ferrismattic It's actually quite clear and obviously deduced that those elements of the law that are Moral in essence must continue since the law is "holy and just and good". The ceremonial law must be abrogated for Christ has come and fulfilled all types and shadows.
