The country is not screwed. Each state gets 2 Sen, but CA is most populous state; as a result it has most representation in the House of Rep - 53. The House total is only 435, so CA controls over 12%. That’s more than enough power.

She was questioned at the hearing for like 3 hours! Kavanaugh wasn’t questioned again either. Ford was the one making the allegation, so the FBI went where SHE led them. If she and her attorneys think it was incomplete, it’s because the evidence was incomplete/nonexistent.
