This is really well-written and I felt like I was drinking a special elixir granting me a sneak-peek of the future. 100% agree interoperability between games & single identity being critical.
Will also be interesting to see how other (non-gaming related) companies join in. :)

I don't think play-to-earn will be adopted as widely as you suggest here (although your general direction of valuing time is accurate). As a lifetime gamer myself, I value playing a game for fun, not money. I do value my time - but I think interoperable game assets/avatars >

yeah to be honest - no business model that has been tested to date has worked. Hopeful for ILV for sure :) tokenomics is good
I've spoken with Kieran a couple of times. Smart guy & smart team/advisors. ILV was actually my first web3 investment funny enough, so bullish on them :)

Pitchbook / Preqin data will get you most of the first 2 bullets (and some of 4th). You can approximate the 3rd one (just assume 24 / 36 month unlock on time of their investment). Don't know of any free source though.

I'd argue speculation is a form of utility (great for gamblers and degens, which make up most of NFT projects). I think adding "real" utility would kill speculation (which will pay 10x what fundamentals will), so not a large interest for projects atm.

I think judging a game by its private beta is a bit crude. It's obvious the team plans to add more social elements over time. Also, the autobattler is pretty solid imo & has improved since PB1.
My biggest concern for ILV is they should really be targeting the web2 crowd harder.

Being a big user of both, honestly I prefer Meet (Zoom is slow to load). I can see other people preferring Zoom simply because their company forces them to use it (maybe for security/IT reasons) and they just become accustomed to it.

The whole space is still pre-maybe stage haha. With sales - studios could probably agree to split revenue on shared assets (could be NFT royalty applications, too). In a few years, there will probably be cleaner solutions to everything I mentioned earlier, but time will tell! :)

To clarify - the basic level tech is there. It's not fined-tuned or anything. What Ready Player Me is doing can be an example. But at a high level - anyone can read NFTs in a wallet - game studios simply needs to permission those assets in their games. Making assets workable
