I'm taking liberty to dox my alt here (obvious anw) since character assasination and "you have bags" bit is getting cringe. For people in the know, Eclipse doesn't have a pristine record of intellectual honesty either. During devnet, Eclipse was intentionally misleading abt DA blobs submission not being implemented yet (the one thing that makes a rollup, a rollup). Which implies the chain being a straight up solana fork with no rollup functionalities implemented. The excuse (that Neel said in DM) is that it's an upstream issue with Celestia, which I know for a fact is not the case. Also, Neel _was_ in fact asking around for a Rust devshop and the fact that Eclipse repo back then was a straight up solana fork that posts DA to Postgres, so I don't think the suspicion is completely unfounded. If things are different post the Series A where they raised a shit ton of money (potentially on a non-working chain?), then great because I don't think it should be acceptable for protocol companies to not do engineering well.
