b) 87,000 Indian soldiers died in WW2. In comparison Finland, with a tiny population compared to India, had 95,000 military deaths.

Is it also worth considering that whilst the independence of local Police forces is normally regarded as a good thing, it is probelmatic with such cases as Partygate being deemed an offence whereas Currygate wasn't ?

The problem predates 2010.
In Londonistan (2009), Melanie Phillips exposed the Establishment being aware of the threat of militant Islam, but it was afraid that even then it was too big an issue to deal with without widespread bloodshed.

Germany does, (thanks to Angela), the Netherlands did but are now stopping I think, Denmark did but are stopping, Finland did, Sweden did and look at the state of Malmo for eg. Soft countries.

Since covid we now have 4 "Turkish" barbers, 3 minimarts that never sell anything, and most of the carers appear to be Nigerian or Indian.

Belfast and the rest of NI required a significant proportion of the Army, which was much larger at the time, along with the RUC including many reservists.
I doubt there is much capacity if things escalate nationally.

Reform/SDP both need to be fully explicit in their 2029 manifestos about how the Civil Service and Local Authorities will be renewed or replaced.
The "blob" must be given no wriggle room whatsoever to block the Government like they did with Brexit.
