By that definition, there ain’t a dish that isn’t “ethnic”
Plus this video was clearly a novelty stunt, not some established dishes.
Here's a map of what this year's
#LondonMayoralElection
would have looked like if Count Binface and Britain First were the only candidates.
Intergalactic space lord beats fascist earthlings 54.2% to 45.8%. Well done my lord.

You can't blame them. When you are under oppression, one group does nothing whilst the other actively fights back, you bet the people will choose the latter.
Hamas has unfortunately become the main face of Palestinian resistance thanks in no small part to the government of Bibi.
@gavinbena
The partition of Dakota into the communist North & anti-communist South… Yet another scar of the Cold War. We need on united Dakota fatherland.
Using ‘probability to vote for…’ data from last year’s British Election Study, we can add a tactical squeeze for those three in England on top of the adjusted data. Though likely the upper bounds of such a squeeze, even half of this rate of TV would be damaging for
the Tories.
@beatmastermatt
This bill is granting some very broad powers to executive agencies with dubiously defined boundaries. I don’t use TikTok but a bill this vague can’t be good.
@Nassreddin2002
None of them looks particularly enthused, so off to a great start.
This government will probably have a shorter lifespan than the previous one.
Labour's share of the vote:
Keir Starmer's changed Labour Party
2024* 34%
Jeremy Corbyn's actual Labour Party
2017 40%
*Estimate if local results were replicated across the country

The Malaysian opposition alliance against UMNO at one point: liberal, center, center left, center right, ethnic minority, Islamists, Malay ethnonationalists, splinter UMNO members…
Crazy moments in Japanese politics🇯🇵:
NHK Party, the closest thing to the Official Monster Raving Loonie Party in Japan, is fielding 30 (yes, thirty) candidates in the Tokyo gubernatorial election.
As of the time of writing, they’ve already field 15.

In Britain? No I’m aware of. The closest was the Tory PM Arthur Balfour in the Liberal landslide of 1906. But Balfour was displaced as PM shorting before the election

It’s not that great to begin with. Liberia’s society and politics replicated America’s, but only the worst aspects (eg plantation economy, segregation, one-party state in the South).
@bombpensions
The Republican was a VERY different party in MLK Sr.’s time compared to today.
No one in the GOP today would call themselves a progressive let alone a socialist
The 🇮🇹 govt just approved an authoritarian constitutional reform that will introduce🧵
-DIRECT ELECTION OF THE PRIME MINISTER with a SINGLE ROUND SYSTEM
-Put in the Constitution that any electoral law must give 55% OF SEATS to the most voted coalition/party, NO THRESHOLD
(1/5)

Hot take: we are witnessing the final years of the monarchy-military’s despotic duopoly in Thailand. The young people are overwhelmingly anti-status-quo.

No. The situation here is genuinely different. In American terms, it’s like there’s a huge gap between the total vote if you add up the results in all the precincts in a state and the official state-wide total
We can seat their and laugh at the LDP’s ridiculous scandals in Japan, until you realize America’s dark money problem makes the LDP slush fund looks like child’s play, and the Unification Church shares deep links with the GOP
