@Katie_Cronin @CambsCops @HMCTSgovuk Just got it from the courts after more than an hour trying (at no point today did the court pick up the phone). Frustrating as I was in the court the police press office said was the correct one at 9.30. The hearing was actually taking place 45 minutes away in a different town.

Was due to be at court for the murder hearing but the press were told the wrong court location - it was actually in Huntingdon not Peterborough...

@AndyCricket100 @PeterboroughCS I'm told regular structural checks take place, to make sure that won't happen. But as the latest story (online now) shows, it isn't going to get better by leaving it - it is only going to get worse.

@johnelworthy @peterboroughtel I'd also say a single line in a quick filler story is hardly 'a nail in the coffin for local journalism' - it's a tough time for local journalism - noone will say otherwise - but the online equivalent of a nib is hardly the death of journalism!

@johnelworthy @peterboroughtel Plenty of other stories on our website that are pure Peterborough. If you are picking on a quick press release filler that took five minutes as an example of poor journalism, I'm not sure that's fair really.

This was a lovely story to cover - I know the news - locally, nationally and internationally - can be a bit grim at times - which makes stories like this so important!
