Midweek games postponed. Nottingham and Sheffield fixtures off and the other 8 teams coaches and players consulted before making a decision. The players chose to come back this weekend.
Everyone connected with the Elite Ice Hockey League is still coming to terms with the events of Saturday night, and the terrible news that was published on Sunday morning.
The Elite League can confirm that games scheduled for both Tuesday and Wednesday will be postponed.

Some have had to go to hospital with one fan in particular being told they have carbon monoxide in their blood.
Planet Ice has shut Widnes ice rink today. We await confirmation as to why it
